Delivery FAQ's: Q. What time will my items arrive on the day of delivery?
A. Interlink Express do not offer a specific time for the service except that it will be delivered before 3pm. If you are expecting problems in being at the delivery address, contact your local Interlink depot which can be found here.
Q. What if I miss my delivery?
A. Interlink automatically redeliver the following day. Items may be collectable from your local interlink depot.
Q. Can I have my items delivered to an address other than my home address?
A. Unfortunatley due to credit card fraud restructions we are unable to send anywhere other than the credit card holders address.
Q. Can I have my items delivered on a Saturday?
A. Yes this service is available from Interlink at a charge of £25.00 additional to standard delivery charges.
Q. Do you send abroad?
A. Yes we ship to most euorpean countries provided that the crdit card is registered to the address. However you may be required to pay by bank transfer for larger orders.
Q. How much is delivery to offshore islands/ Europe?
A. Delivery to any of these areas is priced individually and will require you to contact us for a quotation.
Q. Am I eldigable for mainland UK delivery prices?
A. If you live on an island connected to the mainland by road, you will only pay mainland prices, if a ferry crossing or flight is required delivery will be more expensive. It is best to contact us if you are unsure.
Q. Can I lift the delivery parcels on my own?
A. Most items will be below the 30kg limit and so safe to lift on your own, however we would always recommend for two or more people to lift each item.
Q. Can I check my items before signing for them?
A. Yes! The items you are receiving from the delivery company are your property, it is your responsability to ensure that the items have been transported without damage. You are signing to say that these items have been checked and they are in good condition, it is unreasonable for you not to be able to do this!
Q. What if my items are damaged when I check them?
A. Refuse the items. If the items are damaged, you should refuse acceptance of the delivery and contact us directly where we will arrange replacements for you. Do not sign the drivers manifest.
Q. What if some of my items are missing?
A. In the unlikely event that not all of your goods arrive together, it is ok to sign for the items you recieve, however only sign for the items you have received and if you have checked their condition. For example: If 2 items out of 4 arrive, it is ok to sign and accept the items provioded that you only sign for 2 items not 4. It is most likely that the remaining items will arrive on the following day. |
